Classes will run through winter with a break for the festive season and ending on April 18th 2020. Participation in the Theory Classes is free of charge for both members and non-members.

Open Day – Saturday 2nd May 2020

Following last year’s busy turn-out, but unfortunately little wind, we are inviting members and non-members to join us at our Open Day on Saturday 2nd May 2020 from 10am.
Try sailing on one of the club’s own Piper keelboats under the supervision of our trained helms. Lifejackets and waterproofs are provided. Find out about our Social Sailing learn-to-sail programme for adults.
Our Coastal Rowing section will be offering the chance to take an oar on our new St Ayles Skiff – a four-person open rowing boat steered by a coxswain. See our Coastal Rowing section for more information.
The Parade of Boats will pass close to the club en route from Rhu to Largs. Organised by Clyde Cruising Club, several hundred boats are expected to join this fund-raising muster.  Watch the spectacle from our waterfront balcony while enjoying refreshments from our bar and restaurant, or take a trip out on the water to be part of the experience.
Following the on-the-water activities there will be musical entertainment in the Commodore suite to take us through to the evening.
Find out about the benefits of membership – cost-effective sail-training for children and adults; social functions and entertainment throughout the year; bar and restaurant facilities; membership benefits and discounts; enjoy a club atmosphere and make friends with like-minded people.
